VeraTold™ publishes true accounts — vera is Latin for “true” — of people who fell in love with Jesus Christ and lived bold, courageous lives.
► WHY THESE STORIES
It’s one thing to be told God is faithful. It’s another to follow someone who found out. Not a figure from a distant century — people of our own time, documented from primary sources, with the families who lived it. VeraTold puts those lives in front of young readers and the families and classrooms around them.
We write them for readers twelve and up. Not simplified. Not sentimentalized. Told straight — the way the people who lived them would recognize.
► HOW A STORY TRAVELS
Every VeraTold story begins as a book. Everything else — the curriculum, the audiobook, the audio drama, the film — flows from it:
Written or adapted for readers 12 and up, professionally edited, and fact-checked against primary sources — the source text for everything that follows.
Project-based lessons for homeschools and Christian classrooms, authored by a career Christian educator. Produced with each funded title.
The full narrated text, for the car, the chore list, the bedtime hour. Produced with each funded title.
A full-cast production that puts listeners inside the story. Produced with each funded title.
Several VeraTold stories began as our feature-length documentaries. Where that footage already exists, it becomes companion viewing shaped for the classroom and the living room. Video for future titles is part of where VeraTold is going.
► FOR SCHOOLS AND HOMESCHOOLS
VeraTold Classroom (in development) — Bible-based curriculum teaches doctrine. VeraTold Classroom teaches the same truths through documented lives — a real faith, a real struggle, a real outcome, with supplemental lessons that can be used for Bible, history and/or literature classes.
Curriculum is developed by Michelle Lang, who spent twelve years as a teacher and principal in Christian education.
► THE FIRST TITLES
- The Roger Morneau / Grossé Series — Long before he wrote books on incredible answers to prayer, Roger Morneau heard secrets on a mountain — in a spiritualist society. Two books tell that story and his fifty-year friendship with the people God used to bring him out, Cyril and Cynthia Grossé. Drawn from six years of primary-source research for our documentary Charmed By Darkness.
- A memoir by Michelle Lang — the story behind the award-winning 2026 documentary UNMISTAKEN, distributed by Vision Video.

► THE STORYTELLERS COME FIRST
A true story starts with the person who lived it, and to the family who carries it. VeraTold is built so the people who entrust us to write their biography stay connected to it — permission on uniform terms, and royalties paid directly, on the same terms to every rights holder. VeraTold is a publishing initiative of Lifestreams Media, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit film production ministry founded in 2009.
We have produced seven feature-length documentaries and multiple seasons of TV and radio programs, grounded in true stories of hope, healing, and faith — overseen by an active Board and a separate Accountability Board.

VeraTold titles are funded one at a time. A sponsored title is written, edited, fact-checked, published under our own imprint, and delivered with its curriculum and audio — a complete work, named and reported to the funder who made it possible.
